The Blabloo and Geniora smartphones are a kid´s first smartphone, developed by Escudo Web for the Global and South East Asian markets respectively. Both smartphones have the same functionality but the Geniora version also has pre-loaded subscriptioned educational content which can make “Education on the Go” a reality. A UNESCO Report claimed that mobile phones offer an “opportunity to support the literacy development of children through mobile technology”. Both devices also reinforce the concept that we created, “Digital Parental Interaction” to ensure that children grow up as responsible citizens with no addiction to technology or over exposure to the internet before they are ready and where parents are as involved as they want to be in the education of their children.
